AVYA Consulting FZ-LLC ("AVYA", "we", "us") is an independent AV and workplace technology consultancy based in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, working across the GCC. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical information sent automatically by your browser:

  • Information you submit through our contact, consultation or resource-download forms — such as your name, email address, company, job title, phone number (optional), and anything you write in an enquiry.
  • Marketing consent — if you tick the optional consent box, we record that you opted in, the wording you agreed to, and the date.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser, device type and approximate location (city/country, derived from your IP), used to understand and secure our traffic.
  • Cookies and analytics — this site uses reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and the LinkedIn Insight Tag for advertising measurement and retargeting. These set their own cookies.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services or resources you request.
  • To email you the resources you ask for (for example, a checklist download link).
  • Where you have opted in, to send you occasional insights on AV and workplace technology. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse, and to understand how it is used.

Our lawful basis

We rely on your consent for marketing emails, on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and securing the site, and on taking steps at your request before entering into any engagement. Under GDPR, UK GDPR and the UAE PDPL, marketing consent is only valid when it is a positive, unticked action — our forms are built that way, and marketing is never a condition of receiving a resource.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and communicate with you — for example, our email delivery and marketing platform, and Google (reCAPTCHA) and LinkedIn (advertising) — and only as needed for those purposes. Some of these providers may process data outside your country; where they do, appropriate safeguards apply.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and lead records for as long as needed to follow up and for our legitimate business records, and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to stop marketing to you, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@avya.ae. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
